Diagnostic Imaging

The SASH diagnostic imaging department comprises of the following:

MRI

MRI services are provided solely at East Surrey Hospital in Redhill. Our main scanner runs Monday to Friday, 8 am – 8 pm. On Saturdays and Sundays MRI scan are 8 am – 6 pm.

Our extremity scanner currently runs three days a week.

CT

Our CT services are located at both East Surrey Hospital and Crawley Hospital.
East Surrey Hospital: A 24 hour emergency service is provided, as well as outpatient lists Monday to Friday, 9 am – 7 pm. Additional inpatient lists run on Saturday mornings.

Crawley Hospital: An outpatient service runs Monday to Friday,  9 am – 5 pm.

DEXA

DEXA services are based at the East Surrey Hospital site only and currently runs two and a half days a week.

Mammography

Mammography services are predominantly provided at Crawley Hospital, with some services are provided at East Surrey Hospital.

X-Ray

X-Ray services are provided across all four SASH sites: East Surrey Hospital, Crawley Hospital, Horsham Hospital, and Caterham Dene Hospital.

East Surrey Hospital: 24 hour emergency X-Ray service, as well as GP/outpatient service Monday to Friday, 9 am – 5 pm.

Crawley Hospital: GP/outpatient service seven days a week, 9 am – 5 pm. Walk-in service seven days a week, 9 am – 10 pm.

Horsham Hospital: GP/outpatient services are provided Monday to Friday, 9 am – 5 pm.

Caterham Dene Hospital: GP/outpatient services are provided Monday to Friday, 9 am – 5 pm.
