Surrey and Sussex Healthcare NHS Trust (SASH) celebrated the hard work and dedication of individuals and teams and the outstanding care they provide at the annual SASH Star Awards event held on Thursday (21 November 2019).
The Star Awards ceremony celebrated the work of nurses, therapists, doctors, support staff and recognised volunteers. Awards were presented in eleven categories along with a number of long service honours for staff ranging from 20 – 40 years’ service.
Amongst the categories, an award was also included to recognise the work of SASH staff, who have helped fundraise for the hospital charity, SASH Charity*. The local hospital charity also funded this years’ ceremony.
