Results from the most recent NHS Staff Friends and Family test (FFT) show Surrey and Sussex Healthcare NHS Trust (SASH) is ranked the first nationally for staff recommending their Trust as a place to work.
The national Staff Friends and Family Test asks the likelihood that you would recommend SASH as a place to work and to receive care and treatment.
The survey is open to everyone, permanent and temporary staff; visiting specialists; and volunteers. The survey also provides the opportunity for colleagues to give feedback, share suggestions of how we can improve how we work and deliver care and treatment. Patients also regularly complete the online Friends and Family Test.
Michael Wilson CBE, chief executive, Surrey and Sussex Healthcare NHS Trust said:
“I am delighted that the most recent Staff Friends and Family Test results have put SASH as the number one hospital in the country as a place to work. This is great feedback and highlights fantastic team work and quality of care to our service users. I am proud of the commitment of all our staff to making a difference to the people we care for and delighted that this is reflected in how motivated they feel along with their recommendation of SASH as a place to work and to receive care and treatment.”
