Maternity amenity beds

An amenity bed is a private room that you can request for a fee. There are a number of amenity beds located on Burstow Ward in the Maternity Unit.

These beds are only available after delivery and cannot be requested before giving birth. For a number of reasons, an amenity bed might not be available and we apologise for this.

Room options

Room 1

This is an en-suite room with a single bed. Overnight charge: £120*

Rooms 4, 6 and 8

These are single rooms and do not have any en-suite facilities.Overnight charge: £80*

*If a patient uses a room for less than eight hours the fee is reduced.
