Pelvic Floor Health

The pelvic floor is a structure made up of layers of muscles which supports the organs within the pelvis: the bladder, bowel and uterus. This structure helps maintain the normal function of the bladder and bowel, preventing unexpected leakage and passing of wind. Strengthening and maintaining a healthy pelvic floor can also maintain sexual function (RCOG, 2024). Click here

Pelvic Girdle Pain

Pelvic Girdle Pain (PGP) is pain in the front and/or the back of your pelvis that can also affect other areas such as the hips or thighs. It is a common complication in pregnant that can affect 1 in 5 women. This can result in pain when you are walking, climbing stairs and turning over in bed are common symptoms of PGP.
