Most women, birthing people and their babies on average have a 24-hour stay in the hospital if no complications. This may be longer if you are being induced or are staying on our antenatal ward. We would recommend packing enough clothes for the expected stay of 1 to 2 days. To ensure safety in our ward areas we would recommend limiting your packing to one holdall or small carry-on suitcase and a handbag.”
