We are a team based at East Surrey Hospital, who provide the following services:

  • Dietetics
  • Hand therapy
  • Occupational therapy
  • Physiotherapy
  • Speech and language therapy
  • Voice therapy

We support patients across East Surrey Hospital with a wide range of issues, including: 

  • Dietary and nutritional problems
  • Swallowing and communication difficulties
  • Paediatric feeding difficulties
  • Difficulties managing activities of daily living
  • Physical or mobility difficulties
  • Difficulties maintaining independence
  • Respiratory difficulties

We work across much of the hospital, from the ‘front door’ areas in our emergency department to our elective day surgery ward and critical care unit.
We also support outpatients with: 

  • Dietary and nutritional problems requiring consultant input
  • Swallowing difficulties requiring consultant input
  • Videofluoroscopy: x-ray of swallowing
  • Voice difficulties
  • Some physical difficulties in children
