Day surgery

At Surrey and Sussex Healthcare NHS Trust we have 16 operating theatres functioning over five sites, covering both elective and emergency work.

We perform approximately 15,800 elective and 5,000 emergency operations each year. We provide a 24 hour / 7 day a week service for emergency cases.

At East Surrey Hospital we have eight theatres in the main hospital building, two on the east side of the hospital, one in Godstone Unit and one in Limpsfield.

At Crawley Hospital we have four theatres in the Day Surgery Unit.
We also have a clinical practice educator for post-registration training.
