The SASH learning disability liaison nurses help to meet the care needs of patients with learning difficulties.

The learning disability liaison nurses can help people with learning disabilities:

  • Understand about their health
  • Understand about their treatment
  • Prepare for hospital visits or stays
  • Help make sure things go well in hospital

We also help hospital staff to understand the needs of people with learning disabilities.
