The SASH learning disability liaison nurses help to meet the care needs of patients with learning difficulties.
The learning disability liaison nurses can help people with learning disabilities:
- Understand about their health
- Understand about their treatment
- Prepare for hospital visits or stays
- Help make sure things go well in hospital
We also help hospital staff to understand the needs of people with learning disabilities.
