Royal Surrey Cancer Centre at East Surrey Hospital offers radiotherapy treatment to patients who live in Redhill, Reigate and the surrounding areas of West Sussex. This allows patients to have treatment closer to home, instead of travelling to Guildford.
The centre has two state of the art linear accelerators and benefits those patients who need radiotherapy as part of a palliative care pathway. The centre opened in September 2014, and is run as an extension to the Royal Surrey County Hospital’s Cancer Centre by our expert teams.
Royal Surrey Cancer Centre is a fully-functioning treatment centre with the following equipment and facilities:
- Two linear accelerators, delivering highly focused radiation to patients
- CT scanner
- Clinic rooms for patients to meet with specialist doctors or radiographers
