Angio suite

The angio suite is a day ward with six beds, two recovery spaces and a separate theatre for procedures.

We carry out a range of procedures, both as emergency referrals and elective procedures, comprised of:

  • Angiograms
  • Permanent pace makers (PPM)
  • Percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI)
  • Implantable cardio defibrillators (ICD)

We also carry out a number of emergency procedures, including temporary pacing and pericardiocentisis.

The angio suite is located on the ground floor of East Surrey Hospital between our 28-bedded cardiology ward (Holmwood) and the 8-bedded coronary care unit (CCU).

Angio suite opening times

8am – 6pm, Monday to Friday
Nursing staff can be contacted on 01737 231 935 during opening hours.
