Hospital at Night service
The Hospital at Night service which re-launched this month (Wednesday 1 August 2018) will improve the service we provide for patients overnight and look after staff needs, health and wellbeing too. Our multi-professional team will be working together more closely to ensure that patients have rapid access to excellent care. We are also responding to patient feedback regarding noise at night and will be asking our staff and visitors to do their bit in creating a calmer, more therapeutic environment for our patients.
Dr Ben Mearns, chief of medicine said: “I am very proud of our teams co-designing our new approach to care across the Hospital at Night, focussing on the needs of patients to ensure 24/7 safe high quality healthcare.”
We are working with Surrey Care Record team to supply our data through to their system. The information governance (IG) issues have been reviewed and we are now building the technical interfaces to both send data to the Surrey Care Record and provide our emergency department (ED) clinicians single sign on access from within our EPR. For more information contact the Surrey Care Record team.
