Jumping aboard the Magical Taxi Tour to Euro Disney recently was East Surrey Hospital’s David Barton.
The Lead Emergency practitioner for Surrey and Sussex NHS Trust was there to provide medical support for the sick children and their families on their fun filled adventure.
The convoy of 114 vehicles, including 91 black cabs, set off from London last Friday (20) and took 100 chronically ill children to see Mickey Mouse and his friends for the weekend.
It’s the fourth time David has volunteered for the charity trip and he said: “These children spend a lot of their time in and out of hospital and because of their complex health needs they will never normally be able to travel abroad. By taking the hospital with us to Disneyland Paris these children and their families get the trip of a lifetime”
