Crawley Hospital is conveniently located near Crawley town centre, and has good public transport links. Surrey and Sussex Healthcare NHS Trust provides several services at the hospital, which is managed by Sussex Community NHS Trust.

Visiting hours

Standard visiting hours are from 14.30 to 20.00, although some wards may have more flexible hours.

Getting to Crawley Hospital

Getting here by car

Local directions:

  • From roundabout on A23 Crawley Avenue, head south-east into Ifield Avenue
  • Almost immediately, take the right-hand lane to turn into Ewhurst Road – the hospital is sign-posted
  • After about 350 yds turn left into West Green Drive (opposite local shops)
  • The hospital is on the right after about 300 yards

Parking

Parking is very limited at Crawley Hospital, and is managed by Crawley Borough Council. If you have any questions about parking, please e-mail parkingservices@crawley.gov.uk or phone 01293 438 696.

The pay and display car park costs:

  • £2.40 up to two hours
  • £3.60 up to three hours
  • £4.80 up to four hours
  • £6 up to five hours
  • £9 all day

 

There are also paid car parking spaces just outside the hospital, along West Green Drive, a car park just past the hospital on the right-hand side, and a large multi-storey car park on Orchard Street, which is open until 8pm every day except Sunday.

Getting here by bus

Metrobus Route 1  (for West Green Drive entrance) – serving Broadfield, Southgate, Crawley town centre, Gossops Green and Bewbush.

Metrobus Route 2 (for West Green Drive entrance) – serving Tilgate, Furnace Green, Crawley Town centre, Ifield and Ifield West.

Metrobus Routes 526 & 527 (for Ifield Road entrance) – serving Charlwood, Horley, Smallfield and Crawley town centre.

The nearest station to the hospital is Crawley Station, which is 0.6 miles away and about a 12 minute walk.
