The great work of dedicated staff and the excellent patient care they provide was recognised at Surrey and Sussex Healthcare NHS Trust’s Staff Annual Awards Ceremony on Monday(9).
The evening celebrated the work of nurses, doctors, support staff and volunteers as awards were presented across 11 categories as well as a variety of long service honors.
Trust chief executive Michael Wilson said: “During the last year we have invested millions in state of the art new facilities but I know it is our staff who make a real difference to our patients’ experience. I am incredibly proud to work besides them and celebrate their stories of excellent care.”
Alan McCarthy, SASH chair, added: “These awards give us a chance to recognise and learn from the inspiring work of so many people on our wards and behind the scenes. Congratulations and thanks to everyone who won and to all our nominees.”
