Mr Waleed Ziyada, MB, ChB, DLO, FRCS, MSc
Mr Waleed Ziyada has worked at Surrey & Sussex Healthcare NHS Trust since 1991.
He trained in otolaryngology both abroad and in the UK. His initial specialist training in ENT Surgery was at Baghdad Medical City Teaching Hospital completed in 1985.
Mr Ziyada underwent further higher surgical training at City Hospital & Royal Infirmary, Edinburgh. He became a fellow and a member of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh and England in 1989 and 1990. He also holds a Masters Degree in voice pathology from University College London.
He runs a specialist voice clinic at Crawley Hospital and holds weekly general clinics at Caterham Dene Hospital, East Surrey and Horsham Hospitals. He has an operating list at East Surrey Hospital.
Throughout his career at East Surrey and Crawley Hospitals he has been actively involved in the re-configuration and development of ENT services within the SASH area. He is also involved in training and supporting junior doctors training in the specialty. He has qualifications in medical education.
