Mr Kapoor is a double fellowship trained consultant ENT surgeon, who has a specialist interest in head and neck surgery, thyroid, voice and complex paediatrics. He was appointed in October 2014, and has gone on to become the lead clinician for ENT, as well as lead for head and neck cancer at SASH.
Mr Kapoor trained at Imperial College, London, and was awarded Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons England, having worked at internationally recognised centres of excellence including Great Ormond Street Hospital, Fellowships at Guys Hospital London, and Charing Cross Hospital London, as well as time in New York’s Memorial Sloane Kettering Hospital and Massachusetts Eye and Ear Institute in Boston, USA.
He is fully trained in all aspects of ENT surgery and has subspecialist interest in minimally invasive trans-oral laser surgery. He has clinics at East Surrey Hospital and Queen Victoria Hospital, operating on both sites. Alongside the radiology department he offers a rapid access lump clinic, and works closely with the respiratory team providing a specialist breathlessness and cough clinic.
