Dr. Sambantham completed her specialist training in Paediatrics in Oxford, developing a particular expertise in epilepsy and neurology. She joined Surrey and Sussex Healthcare NHS Trust (SASH) as a Consultant Paediatrician in 2020 and plays a key role within the Paediatric Department and Neonatal Unit.
She runs specialist epilepsy clinics at Crawley Hospital on Monday mornings and at East Surrey Hospital on Thursday mornings. In addition to her clinical work, Dr. Sambantham serves as the Neonatal Risk Lead for the trust, ensuring high standards of safety and care for newborns.
