Dr Katie McGlone is a General Paediatrician with a special interest in Paediatric Rheumatology and serves as the Named Doctor for Children’s Safeguarding at SASH. She has been a part of the trust since 2015.
Training & expertise
Dr McGlone trained at The Royal London Hospital and St Bartholomew’s Medical School, completing her Specialist Paediatric Training in South London in 2010.
She is the Lead Consultant for Paediatric Rheumatology at SASH and works closely with tertiary Paediatric Rheumatology teams at Evelina Children’s Hospital and Great Ormond Street Hospital. To ensure young patients can receive care closer to home, she runs regular Joint Outreach Clinics at East Surrey Hospital in collaboration with the Paediatric Rheumatology team from Evelina Children’s Hospital.
