Consultant Paediatrician with a Special Interest in Paediatric Gastroenterology
Professional background
Dr. Gurreebun completed her medical degree at Newcastle Medical School in 2004 before undertaking her paediatric training in the North West (Manchester) Deanery. In 2014, she joined East Surrey Hospital as a Consultant Paediatrician, specialising in paediatric gastroenterology.
Clinical interests & expertise
Dr. Gurreebun provides expert care for children with a range of gastrointestinal conditions, including:
- Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD)
- Chronic constipation
- Coeliac disease
She works closely with tertiary gastroenterology teams from St George’s Hospital and Brighton Hospital, running joint clinics to ensure comprehensive care for complex cases. She also holds regular joint clinics with paediatric dietitians to support children with coeliac disease.
