Dr Radha has more than 25 years of experience in Paediatrics and Neonatology. She completed training in paediatrics and Neonatology in tertiary hospitals in London like the Imperial College, University College London Hospital, Homerton, and also in DGHs in Kent and Surrey. She holds postgraduate qualifications in UK from RCPCH, Kings College London and the University of Cambridge and from India.
Dr Radha has been the Lead for the Neonatal Fetal Medicine service at East Surrey Hospital since 2016. She has held a regional lead role as the Joint Neonatal Clinical Lead at Surrey Heartlands Local Maternity and Neonatal Systems for 2 years up until 2022.
She runs clinics at East Surrey Hospital in Neonatal high risk follow up, Fetal Medicine, Baby clinics, Paediatric Allergy/Asthma and General Paediatrics. She trained in Paediatric Allergy at Kings College Hospital and holds a postgraduate diploma in Advanced Paediatrics from there. She completed a practitioner development programme at the University of Cambridge. She holds a honorary contract with Guys and St Thomas’ Hospitals NHS Trust with their Paediatric Allergy department.
Dr Radha has a strong interest in teaching and research. Currently she is the Principal Investigator at East Surrey Hospital for the HARMONIE trial, the multinational randomised control trial for prevention of RSV infection in babies and children. She regularly presents her work at national and international conferences. Dr Radha teaches on the Neonatal Life Support (NLS)course all over the UK since 2010.
