Dr Stewart (MB CHB BSc FRCA) has been a consultant anaesthetist at East Surrey Hospital since July 2002 with a main sub speciality interest in obstetric anaesthesia.
She graduated from the University of Birmingham Medical school and completed her anaesthetic training on the South Thames (West) Specialist Registrar School of anaesthesia based at St George’s Hospital.
Her interests include anaesthesia for ophthalmology, gynaecology, emergency theatre, obstetrics and high risk obstetric anaesthetic clinic.
She is lead for ophthalmology anaesthesia, educational supervisor and instructs on Advanced Life Support (ALS) and the Advanced Paediatric Life Support (APLS) courses.
