We understand the importance of providing an opportunity for friends and family to remember loved ones who have died at East Surrey Hospital. The chaplaincy and palliative care teams work together to deliver a suitable service.
A Celebration of Life and Time to Remember is a simple ceremony of readings, reflections, poems, prayers and music. It is open to everyone and will provide the opportunity for a special time of dedication and reflection.
The experience of bereavement is often likened to a journey. A time of remembrance can offer a powerful way of honouring those we have lost and may help us to find strength and comfort.
On Saturday 14 May there will be a time to remember service which gives families, friends and staff the opportunity to come together to remember our patients who have died. This will be in the lecture theatre at East Surrey Hospital from 11am - 12pm.
