The Innovation Award specifically celebrates those who introduce new ideas, methods, or concepts that significantly improve safety and patient care. Jenny has been shortlisted for the award for her innovative approach to manual handling training. This method ensures that training is both accessible and effective, adapting to the diverse needs of staff while maintaining the highest safety standards.

The NBE, a leading organisation in the United Kingdom promoting safe moving and handling practices, honours individuals and teams who demonstrate exceptional innovation and dedication in the field. Jenny’s dedication to continuous improvement led her to complete the Trust’s Lean for Leaders programme, where she mastered her ability to create fit-for-purpose solutions that have a real impact.
